If you have not already guessed, I am currently twenty three. I call California my home but was born in Arizona. It has been about five years of moving all around this beautiful state. My journey has included Campbell, Rancho Santa Margarita, Laguna Niguel, Hemet, Newport Beach and where I am now.
There are two other girls living here. Brandy and I met a couple years ago through mutual but unfortunately, some of the people who chose to turn against me, "friends". Chelsea was brought into my life, oddly from an app. Her personality fit right in and her heart is full of kindness and compassion; leveling out the house.
Most of my free time is spent in my room. Fortunately, my roommates and I have our own space. A two floor town home that is also occupied by the other thing that makes me the happiest. The number changes quite frequently but currently there are seven cats and my best friend, my dog, Taco. The world would have a lot more sadness and nonsense without animals. They teach us a lot of responsibility and help us realize that the attention can not always be on ourselves.
So besides spending most hours in my room painting, sewing or writing; my animals are always with me and keep me sane. I don't mind being alone. Imagination and creation keep my mind running. Ideas flood my head every minute of the day.
I could call myself the outcast in this house. That is something pretty familiar. Something I know and I am okay with. I believe in being myself and the best version of that. Being different is not always a bad thing. You can be unique, creative, somebody no one else can be and most of all, yourself.
The life I currently live is spent managing a toy store and of course, holding on to the dream of becoming an artist.
Today the grounds continued to be soaked and rumbled by the rain and thunder. Bussiness slows down and customers dissapear. With the silence and boredom that takes over, more and more ideas come to mind. My imagination runs wild, not knowing what project to start next.
